Ireland are tantalizingly close

to Slam after win vs. England

March 4, 2009 You still have to scratch your head and wonder how on earth there was just one point between the teams at the end of last weekend's Six Nations hostilities. Ireland had possession, territory and control of the game for long periods, yet it was fortunate that England's converted try came when it did in the dying seconds because, a couple of minutes earlier, and who knows what might have happened.
